Profile
I have worked in IT for more than 20 years, 15 of them developing professional software. Programming is my passion, and I have always enjoyed trying out new technologies and putting them into practice. My goal is to build systems that are not only efficient but also secure and reliable. As a freelancer I can take part in a variety of projects, which constantly brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
Professional experience
As a freelancer I take on a wide range of assignments while also working on my own ideas.
I was the lead developer responsible for the ORF Fusion spam filtering software, and took an active part in designing and building the new technologies used in it.
We built client and financial record-keeping systems for forex companies, using every security measure available at the time because of the sensitivity of the stored data. We also built a distributed trading system for forex companies that was unique on the market. I was also head of the development department.
I spent a year on secondment at our partner company in Cyprus, where I led the customisation of our client management system and the setup of the complete IT infrastructure. During the secondment I was employed by the partner company.
